Join us for our LAST La Jungla of the year at Pearl's Side Peace!   Co-residents Yanna and MLE will be joined by special guests Jupiter and Xoy for a night of sweaty dancing and forward thinking sounds from across the African diaspora for the femmes and queers!

La Jungla History & Mission












Guests dancing  at La Jungla's Pride Celebration event.

Co-founded by resident DJs MLE and Yanna, La Jungla has taken place in Houston, TX since April 2023 with the intention of celebrating their Caribbean heritage and creating a safe space for Black/Brown femme, queer, trans and gender non-conforming folks to express themselves through sound and movement. The event also serves as a platform to showcase BIPOC, femme, and LGBTQ+ DJs that celebrate Afrodiasporic music.
